Easter and a desire to be near the ocean was the motivation to go to Guernsey , the second largest of the channel Islands.  An hour flight from Gatwick with Aurigny Airlines had me on the tarmac .... a short, 50p bus ride on a beautiful spring afternoon got me to within a few minutes walk of the Hotel Belle Luce in St Martins, a 10 minute bus ride from St Peter Port, the capital.  With lovely beaches, a fascinating history, and plenty of sea cliffs to wander, I had all that I needed for a pleasant four day stay.  Here-in are a few of the many pictures I took whilst there, hopefully they will serve to give you an idea of the islands layout and highlights ..........
