A Walk around the Matuku Lakes at Ferrymead

A walk around the Matuku Lakes has become a regular part of my week.  There are always a few birds to photograph, sometimes a white heron, or a few Australasian Shovelers, Scaups, Pukeko, and usually a few noisy Masked lapwings (aka spur winged plovers) to watch and photograph. Here’s a selection from todays walk.
