Abel Tasman National Park, situated at the top of the South Island, is our smallest park. It’s a narrow coastal strip at the edge of Tasman Bay, where aqua blue meets gold meets green. Its golden sands, blue, clear water, cool bush and history of settled weather acts as a magnet for visitors to New Zealand. It’s an absolute must if you are coming to NZ .. just try not to go December through to the end of February .. it tends to be a bit manic then.
