Over-run by Starlings

Over-run by Starlings

There are lots of Starlings cruising around the neighbourhood at the moment, no doubt nesting in the eves of unsuspecting houses! Whilst I think they are quite pretty birds, I don’t see this as a positive thing, as they compete for food with our native birds, such as the bellbird which feeds on flax flowers, as do the Starlings. Anyway, here’s a few photos of some birds I have taken in the last few days.
