New Zealand Pipit

New Zealand Pipit

Went for a drive along the Godley Head road this afternoon to see if I could find a NZ Pipit. Although a strong southerly was blowing which must have made flying conditions dodgy,  I was still lucky enough to find a bird hunting for afternoon tea. Eventually it found a luckless caterpillar, so while it played with its food, I was able to get some good photos.
